Summary

Inspense is a desktop application that runs entirely on your computer. Your financial data never leaves your device.

Data We Collect

On Your Device (Local Only)

• Transaction data you import from CSV files
• Categories you assign to transactions
• Your preferences and settings

This data is stored in a local SQLite database on your computer and is never transmitted to our servers.

Optional AI Features

If you use the AI categorization feature, transaction descriptions may be sent to Anthropic's API for processing. This data is not stored by Anthropic beyond the immediate request. You can use your own API key to have full control.

Purchase Information

When you purchase Inspense, payment is processed by Paddle. We receive your email address and purchase details to provide license keys and support.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your actual financial transactions
• Bank account numbers or credentials
• Credit card numbers
• Any personally identifiable financial information

Third-Party Services

• Paddle - Payment processing (Privacy Policy)
• Anthropic - AI categorization API (optional, only when you use AI features)

Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

• Delete the app and all data at any time
• Export your data in CSV format
• Use the app entirely offline (except for AI features)
